In order to support the learning experience the Learner Services Unit, in collaboration and consultation with other departments and units across the University; provides learners, faculty and other staff members with access to a vast collection of learning resources and research material. These resources are made available through the development of a number of initiatives such as: the University e-Library, Quality Hub, Quality Digest, and the Learning Resource Center (LRC).
Accessible from the University Official Website, the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University e-Library is the access point for all learning resources. The e-library was designed and implemented to provide various users with easy access to electronic books, journals, articles, databases and other public and non public domain websites; irrespective of their geographical location and time of the day.
The e-library's holdings are currently available in English language. Future plans include the provision of resources in Arabic language as well.
Complementing the e-library, the Q-Hub is a significant repository (encyclopedia) of knowledge and information pertaining to quality. It consists of large number of comprehensive rich case studies, articles, templates, dos and don'ts reports and roadmaps.
The e-Quality Digest is a monthly newsletter published by the University, addressing specific themes of TQM. This Newsletter was created with the intention to support the current drive for implementing TQM in the Middle Eastern Region and to allow learners in the field of TQM to keep abreast with the latest developments in quality and to come to grips with some of the intricacies of its implementation and relevance to specific situations. An archive of all issues of the Quality Digest can be accessed by clicking this link.
The LRC is a portal that includes various information and tools to support the non-academic information and needs of learners.
