Prior to the start of each semester, the University organizes an orientation program, to which all newly admitted learners are strongly encouraged to attend. The purpose of the orientation program is to introduce new learners to the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University, its policies and procedures, learning environment, and services and program of study.

The orientation program provides an opportunity for learners to meet with their future faculty members, with the University administrative staff and with their fellow learners.

For those who are unable to physically attend, pertinent material covered during the orientation program will be sent to them.
