Chairman of MEQA 1st Annual Congress Message:
On behalf of e-TQM College and the MEQA founder members, I would like to invite you to part take in the 1st MEQA Congress. This is our inaugural meeting and the themes to be addressed have been meticulously crafted so that there is relevancy to the Middle East region. In most cases, the themes signal the interest and concerns at a global level. The MEQA Congress has the mission to spread knowledge and up to date concepts born or brought into this important region. It will aim to attract scholars, thinkers, consultants and practitioners to present thoughts and ideas, share outcomes from rigorous research and highlight learning lessons from practical applications. Our aim is to make it the most important focal point in the region every year and what a better start than having the support of the International Academy for Quality, the European Center for TQM, the APQO, the ANQ and of course organizations represented by our founder members to kick off this historical meeting.
We look forward to receiving your contribution and I personally look forward to welcoming all of our guests, participants and delegates to this inaugural conference.

Objectives of MEQA Congress
- To generate a systemic view of the variety of models pertinent to organizational excellence.
- To study the emphasis of the organization character and culture on sustaining and improving its performance.
- To create an international quality set of connections in order to optimize the organizational quality knowledge management and practice in The Middle East.
The Theme of MEQA 1st Annual Congress
The Congress focal theme is Global Strategies for Organizational Excellence. The main purpose of the Congress is to empower and disseminate the Quality Concept in the Middle East. This international event will demonstrate how value-focused organizations have responded to the unprecedented uncertainties of the new global economy and shifting paradigms by taking systemic and integrated business management approaches using Quality-based models. The Congress has gained leading gurus’ accreditation as being state of the art knowledge in the corporate and academic joint venture search for Organizational Excellence.
The theme, Global Strategies for Organizational Excellence, integrates 12 tracks through 10 plenary sessions by our eminent keynote speakers as well as many concurrent sessions by academicians from all around the world. The topics integrated are covered in the following tracks:

The Congress is also hosting a special session sponsored by the International Academy for Quality (IAQ). The session will hold 7 presentations by prominent Academicians from the IAQ.
Call for Papers
Those who wish to present a paper/join a panel discussion, are required to submit their abstract in 100 words along with a brief resume (100 words), contact details & passport size color photograph. All papers should be typed on the A4 size in Microsoft Word Format in Times Roman, font Size 10 and sent on a CD together with a hard copy.
