Enrollment


To enroll in any Continuing Education courses, please complete the Application Form and send it by e-mail, fax, or post.

Once enrolled, please issue the payment at least 3 days before the start of the course. In the case where payment is made on the first day of the course, a AED100 charge will be added to the total course fees.

Payment


Payment of the total course fees is due at the time of enrollment and can be done in of the following ways:
  1. Bank Draft payable to e-TQM College 
  2. Cash at e-TQM College site
  3. Company Cheque payable to e-TQM College 
  4. Direct Transfer/Direct Cash Deposit to: National Bank of Dubai, Main Branch – Account Name: e-TQM College – Account #: 0151 090 888
    SWIFT: NBDUAEAD. It is important to send Bank Transfer/ Deposit advice along with payment details to finance@hbmeu.ae or to fax: +971-4-4088527.

Refund Policy


A request for refund must be made in writing to the Admission & Registration Office at least one week before the start of the course; in such cases a 50% refund will be made. No refunds are made after the one week cutoff date.

Learners


In delivering its academic offerings and other related services, Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University adopts a learner-centric approach. The underpinning philosophical tenets of this approach are to identify the needs of various stakeholders and to work towards satisfying those needs. For the purposes of better serving its stakeholders and clients Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University has classified learners into four categories: casual, committed, concentrated, and continuing learners.

The LLL model of the University allows learners to progressively move from one level to another as they complete courses and programs within the Continuing Education Department and accumulate Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

CE Awards

  1. Upon successful completion of prescribed requirements of CE offerings, a learner becomes entitled to one of the following awards:

    CE Program Type of Award 
    Diploma programs Diploma
    Certificate programs Certificate of Completion
    Short courses Certificate of Participation
    Ad-hoc events Certificate of Attendance

    In order to be awarded a diploma or a certificate of completion, a learner must achieve a minimum average of 60% .

  2. The diplomas awarded by the CE Department shall be classified into three categories according to performance:

    Learner’s Overall Performance Diploma Category
    Above 90% Class A
    75 – 89 Class B
    Below 75 Class C

  3. For short courses and ad-hoc events the certificates of participation and certificates of attendance shall be given out to concerned learners on the last day of an event.
