Faculty

Security Administrator
Main Role

The position holder will be responsible for administering, maintaining and managing university Information System for security.  Duties include implementing, maintaining physical & Logical security in the university, troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of the security of the servers, application and network in a multi-platform environment on 24 hours base and recommend enhancements as needed.

  • Ensure that information communication technologies are maintained properly
  • Responsible for timely assessing and resolving secuirty problems, security network, software and applications, etc.
  • Design and implement security policies and procedures
  • Design and implement the disaster recovery plan for network, system applications and security (team work).

Requirements

Purchases Officer
Main Role
The position holder will be responsible for the following:

  • To oversee centralized purchase functions of the university;   
  • Recommend and administer related policies and procedures and maintain procurement records.
  • Analyze procurement requirements and determine procedures for blanket purchase agreements, competitive bid processes and consolidated purchases.
  • Review and approve invoice, sign POs and ensure that it is in line with agreement & PO.
  • Liaise with finance to resolve billing problems, if any.
  • Participate in group meetings, stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of purchases.

Main Role

Main Role

Responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance and update of contents of the HBMeU website, which includes:  

  • Evaluate and monitor content related standards for design and publication.
  • Perform navigation and browser compatibility check and quality-control of content.
  • Assist in development of a new look and feel for the website.
  • Assist in software redevelopment.
  • Work closely with Deans and Department Heads  to provide consultation and/or support on projects or activities related to the website or content.

User Interface Designer
Main Role

Close coordination with Web Project Managers, Software Developer, Quality Assurance Engineers to define, design and then test user interfaces by applying sound information architecture.  You will also be responsible for Usability testing of all HBMeU software application in addition to the following:

  • Plan and execute usability studies, competitive reviews and gap analysis, focus groups, heuristic reviews, usability tests and surveys.

Main Role

Registration Executive
Main Role
The position holder will be responsible for day to day learner registration activities in the Admission and Registration Office. 

Key areas:

  • To maintain learner registration records and related transactions includes, course enrollment, add and drop, imcompletes, transfer of credits, registration suspensions, grade appeals, etc.
  • Coordinate evaluation and certification of graduate/undergraduate  application, process.
  • Handle schedules, time-tables, development of academic calenders.

Admission Executive
Main Role

The position holder will be in charge of managing day to day functions related to learner admission in the Admission & Registration Office.

Key result area:                                            

  • Analyze qualification of prospective learners according to HBMeU admission standards, guidelines and criteria.
  • Administer learner applications & tracking process for the programs include all learner data relating to admission, placement and grades on the issuing of transcripts.
  • Meet and manage between different schools, faculty and other staff members of HBMeU and with prospective parents and learners to deal with all enquires on admission.

Includes:
